10 Commandments | 2 of 10

CRYPTIK-ONE: Thank you. And this Commandment is from the “Laws/Teachings/Instructions” AKA Torah AKA Pentateuch. So that brings us to the next, Commandment number Two. Please go ahead and tell us.
EVE: Commandment Two “Thou Shall Not Take The Name Of The Lord Thy God In Vain”. In other words you should use the name “God” only when necessary. So I ask, what have you got to offer with that?
CRYPTIK-ONE: Actually #2 is ““Thou shalt not make unto thee any graven image, or any likeness of any thing that is in heaven above, or that is in the earth beneath, or that is in the water under the earth. Thou shalt not bow down thyself to them nor serve them.”
EVE: So what you are trying to say is that God doesn’t want us to make idols.
CRYPTIK-ONE: I am not saying this God is. This ties into the First Commandment.
EVE: OK. So Commandment Number Two (of Ten) is acceptable to the modern world, it is not?
CRYPTIK-ONE: Yes it is. Do you concur?
EVE: Yes.
CRYPTIK-ONE: Settled. 2/10.

  • One of my few connections with current human culture is the internet. I spend much time browsing websites to observe social and cultural patterns. Using an attractor which compels people to travel, I also monitor and collect resources from the physical planet. One day I will harvest them for my own use as well. (Written by Eve for me. I am going with it.)
